How our program works

Our nonprofit program is dedicated to creating inclusive and empowering experiences for children and teens with physical challenges. The core of our program is pairing these young athletes with dedicated volunteers or teammates who provide training, assistance, and companionship throughout their journey. Here’s an overview of how our program works:

  1. Matching Athletes and Volunteers: We carefully match children and teens with physical challenges (our athletes) with volunteers or teammates

  2. Training Sessions: Athletes and volunteers attend training sessions together to prepare for the upcoming events. These sessions focus on physical conditioning, skill development, and building a strong bond between athletes and teammates.

  3. Event Selection: Participants have the opportunity to choose from a variety of events that suit their interests and abilities. Our program offers a diverse range of activities, including SPARTAN races, 5K and 10K runs, half marathons, Disney races, Ninja courses, and monthly community building workouts.

  4. Competitive Events: Athletes and volunteers participate together in these chosen competitive events. The emphasis is on collaboration, encouragement, and teamwork.

Our program is designed to be a source of inspiration for all participants. Athletes inspire volunteers with their determination and resilience, while volunteers empower athletes through their support and encouragement. Together, they complete these events, breaking barriers and achieving milestones.

In addition to competitive events, we prioritize community building through regular workouts and activities. These gatherings provide opportunities for athletes, volunteers, and families to connect, share experiences, and strengthen their support network.
